I've filled the entirety of the feathers with the green colour from the palette. I liked the combination of the blue and green. It is bright, engaging and reminiscent of the original source images.
From here i felt it too simple, and went on to add the darker green shade. It took some time to play around with but ultimately i've alternated the colour pattern as seen below. I also spent this time making sure the repeat was seamless, as seen below there are spacing issues with the background colours.
I also had to edit my original pattern by removing a column, as to keep the new colouring system alternate. Through this I also made my pattern larger, as the width must be 1560px wide.
Additionally, I thought i'd mention, referring back to RGB and CMYK the huge colour difference when converting colours made for screen to CMYK. The reference pictures on here will always appear that more saturated, but all swatches are identical to original RGB It took a few tries to keep remembering to convert but once I did its so much more flattering and realistic.
