Collaboration Partner: Beth Taylor
This brief is collaboration with Beth Taylor; as communications officer it was her role to create all the printed/online paraphernalia that was needed for the Student Elections.
Brief: Create an identity for the Student’s Union elections campaign and apply it across a number of print based and digital mediums.
Background Considerations: The Student’s Union had a meeting about the Students Elections campaign and have been given the go ahead for producing a campaign that surrounds a solar system theme, with each of the roles represented by planet imagery. Beth was involved in the first meeting, before I joined the team. So in terms of my role, we had to create the visuals for this concept. Our job, is report back regularly to the Student’s Union to make sure there is an on-going dialogue/crit system in place. We have to create a visual and tone of voice that is accessible, simple and clear.

This was a very large project for Beth to single-handedly pull together, especially with such small deadlines, so I’m happy to help and lessen the load. Also, Beth does well in areas of design that I am less versed in and vice-versa. I think we will work well together to create a coherent project.
